Hello everyone! I'm new to 3reef after hearing some great things about the site from a local reefer here in Tallahassee. I look forward to meeting some fellow hobbyists and from all the beautiful tanks I have seen so far, I'm betting I will learn a lot along the way. I've been in the hobby about 3 years and in that time I changed up my tank plans several times and my OCD has finally settled on a LPS dominant tank with a few SPS sprinkled in to provide some depth :). Fish wise I have a pair of B&W ocellaris, midas blenny, purple firefish and a yasha paired up with a candy stripe pistol shrimp. Here are a few pics of my tank as of today...

    Thanks everyone!

I would like to get an opinion on a potantial lighting upgrade. There are a lot of LED (particularly AI) fixtures showing up around here and while there are many things I like about LED, I'm just not sure I like the look of the light that is produced. I am considering a 6 bulb ATI Sunpower but was also considering going with a 24" fixture and suspending it high enough to get the spread to 36". I have been told that even a 24" ATI will cook my corals unless I suspend the fixture several feet above my tank, mainly because my tank is so shallow (16"). Eventually I plan on getting my dream tank which is a 4 foot, 120 gallon so I am also considering the 36" Sunpower with the thought being I can suspend that fixture high enough to cover the 48" spread on the 120 and not have to buy lighting twice. Any suggestions?
