green algae

i got some green algae problems. it has bubbles in it and is getting stuck to some of my soft corals. Its floating around and getting caught on the live rock???????

 

anyone have any ideas????

can you get a picture up = it sounds like dinoflageletes

but I can also see green hair algae in the pictures - are you using a Phosphate removal resin GFO like Phosban, Rhowphos etc?

How long has this tank been set up?

 

the guy i got it from had it for like two years, i just got it two nights ago. I dont know if the LR are still allive. i bought a new one i put ontop of the old ones..

 

i dont think its sea lettuce. This stuff grows on the walls and then i scrap it off and it floats around and gets stuck on things and in the grates in the back to the chambers???
