What are your experiences with them in a way of moving around the tank? If i were to buy 4 or so, do you think they will stay at the very top right of the tank and barely move and dont go near the liverock (like my previous experiences with only one) or do you think they will go around and all over the tank, really appreciating the liverock and filling in space nicely?

    thanks,
    ryan

Well it depends on your other livestock, Yes if you buy more than one they are going to school. As to where they swim in your system really depends on if you have aggressive fish nipping at them. I had a lonley chromis in my system at one time, he did the same thing. Hide in the corner 24/7.

I have 5 and they are the most active fish in my tank. They go all over the place in one loose school. I think the more you have, the tighter they would school. 4 might not school that tight, but they would hang around each other.

They go all over. I only have two and they really don't stick together.

I think pajama cardinal fish will stay together better but they aren't active, just kinda sit there and look like fake plastic fish floating in your tank. lol

i would not put four plus chromis in a 22 gallon tank.....4 fish alone is to much for a 22 IMO

I've heard the odd numbers thing before. I'm not sure if that applies to chromis. They are pretty peaceful.
