I have a nice 4.5" Green Pagoda Cup about 8 months old and grew from about 3" and while i was feding tonight as usual the polyps contract while feeding but I saw 2 polyps appear to have a brown filiment "string" coming out of the center of the polyps and each were about 3" long

About 45 minutes later the polyps were extended again and the filiments are not showing

    Ever seen this before?

(could not get them to show on a picture.....)
