    Wanna know how to kill GSP? Go on vacation, plan for a mantis shrimp to die and land on the GSP, then wait 4 days. Voila! After this happened to me, I just cant seem to get the GSP to come back, at all............although Im not sure I want it to.

    wow.... how long has that been in the tank to get to that point?

    Will other corals grow among all that or does it smother out any competition?

    No idea as it's not my picture. And yes, the star polyps will smother out any other corals unless the competing coral has a very powerful sting..
