I've had my Green Star Polyp now for about 8 maybe 9 months now, I originally got it on a Plate Coral Skeleton, that I placed on a rock and now it has completely spread across that rock (about 2/3 the size of an A4 paper sheet).

Is there a way how I can trim it down to stop it spreading to other rocks and corals etc?
Does the purple coat underneath all the green stuff be able to be peeled off?
Or is there a special technique for this?

You can cut the purple coat under it at the spot you want it to stop then just scrape the rest off. Do it carefully then rubber band the peice you take off to a small piece of live rock rubble. Give it a couple of weeks to attach to that rock and take it to your LFS to trade for credit for more coral frags. Best part about coral.
