And when you consider the fact there are 4 heads, it's really not much more than the rest.

Thank you very much! I have definitely put a lot of planning and thought into it!

Stay tuned for the build which will start this weekend! But the fridge, pump and parts are all very specific for my purpose. Because this is a superconductor fridge rather than a typical condenser fridge I will be able to run piping through the sidewall via bulkheads and use a venturi to introduce the food into the piping of my closed loop that it will be attached to.

    Grim,

This is the first time I skimmed over this thread-and WOW, amazing build!

Makes all my DIY and Reef Tank look like a small bowl or water with a Guppy, or one of those fighting fish in it!

So well thought out, I'll keep looking at this every day or two now!

If you're ever around WI. (yep, this Texan lives in WI now), look me up!

Well I had a fail of a weekend.

First - Tried to start on the refrigerator auto feeder build and ruined the fridge by cutting a wire and by not measuring... I drilled my holes shallow and the door wouldn't shut! /facepalm

next - Went to get the rest of the plumbing for the fridge together and realized I didn't get all the pieces...

Then - got my vortechs cleaned up and found 1 of them whining when it worked great last time it was on just a month ago.

After that my dog peed on my pants and I didn't see that till they were half way up my legs.

And to cap it all off I went to dinner with my girl last night and the waitress spilled sweet tea on me.... WTH

try to just run the vortech for a little.....mine started whining and i let it keep running for a couple hours and it disappeared......might just be some salt creep on the bearing or something?

Ok, here are the pics from the failed fridge build. New fridge ordered.

    Here is the fridge
    [IMG]

    And some of the parts
    [IMG]

    So drill the holes
    [IMG]

First hole is perfect! But I found my wood hole saw wouldn't cut the metal.

Next hole, trying not to cut too deep so I can dig up any wires.. but oh well I cut one.

Dig down, get more wire out, and tie them together
    [IMG]

Now back fill the hole with this stuff
    [IMG]

But then realize the holes are too shallow... and the pipe will stop the door from closing all the way... smh

Picked up the tank today!! It's the perfect dimension. Plenty of height for gorgs and still good depth for a great scape!

And dropped it off at the glass shop to drill the holes for the Bean and Closed loop!
