So... yet another brick wall with this build... I'm all moved in my new place and it's AWESOME, with one caveat. There is NO storage in this little cottage. Like hardly a master closet, 2nd bedroom is full of overflow and not another single closet anywhere in the house. Not a broom closet, hall closet, nothing.

This build is dead without significant room for the filtration... So next summer I'm adding on a master suite, laundry room and utility closet. I also have the go ahead to add a tank room and bury the tank in the wall... But why would I do all that for a 65g tank? I'm going with a 300DD or bigger then. (every single piece of equipment except for the lighting for this tank will work beautifully with a 300-500g SPS setup.)

Nothing is set in stone. Just thinking aloud at this point. (I may very well run them inline with one another, the skimmer should be powerful enough to handle this, I'll just have to increase the water change amounts)

Brain flash to fix my lacking storage and actually finally get all this equipment out of a storage unit and back into use!

I am going to have a guy help me put the tank into the wall in my office and can hopefully start as soon as the end of summer! (around august/september) I'm going kind of crazy without a tank. Been on the grilling and smoking forums talking about food since I have no corals to talk about!

 

Thats just bad for your triglisorides.
