I picked up some green star yesterday and they have yet to open....the lfs HAS really soft lighting so now being here with 6 t-5s how long should it take for them to open up.......I also found a brown starfish similiar to the brittle in body style....hopefully he is harmless....he must have been tucked in the big crevice under the rock....thnx

Give the GSP a few days to a week even depending on how different your water chemistry/lighting is. If the brittle star is brown I wouldn't worry about it.

Hi Danny, you might get partial opening 1st, some of the polyps may show tomorrow
some may not, as said above they can take a few days to adjust and then open fully

or you may be pleasantly surprised and get a full turn out tomorrow

    I have experienced both extremes
