    Hi ALL,
I have just recently inherited a 80 litre tank from my uncle, and was looking to keep a predominantly guppy livebearer biotope.

Could someone please give me some ideas as to the following:

    plants that can be used
other fish that are compatible (e.g algae eater, bottom feeder, smaller fish)
any decor ideas that i could use.

    any help would be great.

    cheers,

    Owen

the guppy biotype is probably brackish amazon one. they originated from south america.

they can handle salinity up to 1.040(thats 50% higher then sea water)
it may be easier to stock a regular fresh tank then a brackish one.
but here are some brackish plants

here are brackish fish Index of Brackish Water Fish - on AquariumFish.net.

i dont know which ones come from south america in the lists.

here is a amazon biotype information(not brackish)
