what can you guys tell me about a half black tang? I don't know anything and google only shows a half black mimic tang- are these the same? Is a mimic tang truly a tang? Thanks in advance

Half Black Mimic Tangs resemble the Half Black Pygmy Angel in coloration with a beige body with black trim. This is why i was told why they are called half black mimic tang. There coloration changes as the fish matures to all brown with a gray face and a black band that curves over the gill cover.

Here is some more info and a caresheet
Half Black Mimic Tang, Chocolate Surgeonfish - Acanthurus pyroferus

what else are you plaining on putting in that tank with him?

This is the stock photo from where I got it. They just replied saying it is a "half black tang" not a mimic.

Are all these going in at once?

Could play havoc, cycle w/ the bioload, etc.

    Lets see pics!

The fish you showed looks more like a chocolate tang changeling.
