    I never used anything from hamilton, but I have never heard anything bad about them too.

    I don't think they're considered low quality.

    From what I see, the hamiltons seem a bit overpriced for what you get.
    I just bought 2 MH pendants and shopped everyone's pendants, and that is what my impression of them is.

    I have a 175 watt MH from Hamilton. I have yet to have problems with it... but i would recommend going with an Iwasaki bulb over anything else

    I went with a lumenarc2 knock off from china. They work and look great, and the price could not be beat.

    Since friday.

    The quality of the aluminum looks to be very good, just as good as the top dollar ones here.

    I can say they made a huge improvement on my tank already, and even over the weekend i think I have more growth than I used to with the old reflectors and the same bulbs and ballasts.
