    I had something like a Prizm in the past and loved it until it got old and I think it shot after my power went out. I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a hang-on that keeps the pump outside the tank. For a 55g. Thanks

    I'm using a Deltec MCE600 - I think they do the MCE300, which may be more suitable for you. It's a really good skimmer, though, and I've had no problems with mine! I should note, they're quite pricey...
