OK so like many, Im not very good with color tests, in fact I hate them. I ran across these hanna Checker digital testers for most prams. No Calcium yet but I emailed them and its the next coming out. So my question is to find out if anyone has been using them? 50 bucks each makes it a very attractive offer....

The per-test cost is comparable to a regular test, but only if you buy the 100-pack bulk reagents; the smaller packs end up at a cost like 4x as much as regular tests. They've been coming out with another new one every month or two, so you can expect more to show up. I haven't used them, though, since I haven't heard of anyone's experience and I don't have the kind of money to experiment with this stuff. Just FYI.

Yeah I get that, to me it will be worth the extra cost for an accurate digital read. I mean calcium pinpoint II is around 300! So, for 50 plus reagents does not sound too bad. :)

Think there would be better pricing for a group buy?

I use the PO4 meter all the time and I love it.
I am waiting on the Ca and Mg testers which are coming soo.

I am a big fan of the Hanna checkers and know some people with the Alkalinity checker too and we all love them.

I am going to pick up the Alk checker very soon...I love anything digital to test with as opposed to colors and counting drops.

I too use the P04 checker, bought it when they were first released....I can hardly wait for the Ca, Mg, and NO3 versions to be released... (alk and NO2 are also available today).
