i was wondering if all Euphyllia's can "touch" each other. I really love them a lot and considering adding a few more to my 29g. My Euphyllia acora is doing great. Although I'm not sure if that's truly what it is because the skeleton shape is round, not hammer. But the polyp tips ARE all hammer shaped

I've never witnessed any physical aggression between species of the genus when placed within reach of one another.

But if you can see in the video the Trumpet is definitely not liked by the paradivisa next to it.

 

Usually Euphyllia can touch; sometimes they can't.

It's a "try it and see" type of thing.

 

I have my trumpet placed away from my hammer. I got it as one tiny frag (one head) and ever since it split it hasn't been too happy. meanwhile the euphyllia is doing great
