    HI Guys,

noticed a few white marks on my puffer since going to work this morning, i added some phyto feast this morning (8ml) and around 400 copepods, and thats about all thats different - now hew covered in white stuff - see whatt you think - i'm meant to be taking him back tommorow, he scard my mandarin out of the tank when i wasn't in - ate 90% of my hermits, and attacked mmy orange linkia (which fixeditself in the space of 3 days!!) thasts why hes so fat i guess!!

any assistance appreciated - i'm going to do a 20% change tommorow anyway.

move your linka and any other inverts or smaller fish out of the tank until you take him back. Puffers will eat all those and he is a good size one it appears. Puffers are not reef safe. Any inverts will be ate and any smaller fish will be puffed at

Lol- he's eaten all my inverts all ready (i expected that though) - apart from my blue legged hermit who is about 2 inch and has an uber thick shell, he still tried though - theres a thinner pice of the lip of the shellmissing, my star is holding up well though been attacked 2* and healed uber quick - he goes back tommorow

Thanks for the input guys, not impulse buying cause the mrs wants it ever again

Well, he did exactly what a puffer is expected to do, destroy anything that won't fight back. And the white spots look like ick. Puffers are best left in a preditor only tank, mixing with docile fish will mean you will have a puffer only tank in the future. :(
