heineken = good

I really think that for wide market beer Heineken is not so bad when you compare to Bud Light, for example. I would much rather have a Heineken than a Miller light as well when given the choice.

I remember when I was a kid, it was very, VERY hot summer day in Argentina, and I was helping my father lay brick on what was going to be OUR home (yes, we built it with our own hands and still stands, 20 years later)
The thing is, we took a break, and my dad had a small cooler with a nice national brand beer.
I saw him take it out of the cooler and lift that bottle up... the condensation on it had formed a drop that slid down the whole bottle making me feel refreshed from just looking at it. And then I saw my dad take the bottle to his dry, thirsty mouth. Even his Adam's apple seemed to dance with the burst of flavor from that beer and then it happend... I heard him say "Ahhhhhh......magnificent beer!!!"

That was the moment in my life when I knew I was going to drink alcoholic beverages when I became an adult... only that I didn't wait that long LOL!

good story! yes, there are plenty of other delicious beers out there. i just happened to be drinking very very cold refreshing heineken the day i posted this.

when its super hot outside i really like corona with a lime. problem is i wind up drinking a case

 

What do you guys think of Wernesgruner? It is my favorite beer so far, but I haven't had too many different brands.

 

heineken in my books is not good...

i love Guiness or Alexander Keith's Amber.

 

Beer that comes in a clear or green bottle is usually not very good...

There are, as always, exceptions to this rule:

1. When there is no other beer around.

2. When it is a really hot day and the beer is ice cold and there is no other beer around.

3. When it is a really hot day, you're at the beach, and the beer is ice cold and there is no other beer around.

4. When it is a really hot day, you're at the beach, in Mexico, and the beer is ice cold and served with a lime on top, and there is no other beer around.
