    I have been reading this site all afternoon and decided to join. I have been doing freshwater aquariums for years now and have decided to convert to saltwater.

    I have a 46 gal bowfront tank and recently found a new home for my freshwater fish. I have always wanted a saltwater tank but have been a little hesitant. I finally just decided to go for it. I plan on doing a fowlr setup. So far I only have water and sand and am buying equpiment here and there. I have a rena heater and canister filter and some kind of wave making power head. Next will be the live rock and a skimmer.

    Not sure extacly what I will be stocking just yet, there are some many wonderful species to choose from. Since the tank is on the small side, I will be picking small fish. Some day I will probably get a larger tank, but that will be way in the future.

    Anyway, I love the info on this site and am getting pretty excited about this project(but I promise to be patient and go slow).
