Hello all,

Would like to begin by saying, this is a wonderful site full of information..love the community and have been reading up for the last couple of weeks!, Kudos to all my fellow reefers.

My name is Dave, currently live in Tennessee and prior to that lived in California my entire life, 4 years ago when I moved to Tennessee, I had a 55gal Truvu Reeftank established for 8 years ( never do acrylic again). Anyways had to tear it down for the big move and gave the tank away to a relative, (He was 19 and no longer has any of the gear I had collected, (aka didn't realize the value of what I gave him), but then again guess no one but a reef/fish enthusiast would. I sure wish I would of at least kept My vho lighting with Ice cap ballast, but so goes it. I find myself a divorced father of 3 with some time on my hands, as I work a 7day 12 hour shifts with 7 days off, So here I go down that long road to setting up another reef (40 to 60gal tank range). It will take a bit to get up and running, but getting equipment and taking time to set up a tank can be alot of fun on its own, at least for me, so I'm looking forward to the endeavor. So in short thanks all for the great information, look forward to sharing new information and asking questions on the forum.

 

Welcome to 3Reef. You will find everyone very helpful here. My tank would have crashed and burned on the first day if it wasn't for this site.
