hello every one

hi i am from California and have been reefing for a little more than ten years (this sounds like an AA speech,lol). i have a pretty good sense of humor and love to joke around. if that type of humor is not welcome here let me know and i will squash it. i never take any of this all that serious as it is the Internet but i love to chat with and network with fellow reefers.

i am starting a dual 40 gal set up at this time and have a 37 gal custom oceanic waiting as well. i will post pics when i have time.

glad to be here and i love the member map and the corner graphics. both are pretty sweet.

Welcome to the reef. What kind of stuff do you have on the tank?

 

the list is big i will keep it short.

the dual 40s share an oceanic 3 sump w/2 T4 return pumps. it will have one 400w radium over each 40 running on IC ballasts. lets see an ASM 4X skimmer, two phosban reactors (1 phosban/1 carbon), a 1/4hp PCI chiller a calcium,Ph and salinity monitor (all american marine), red sea deluxe ozonizer/orp controller. i think thats about it...they will be bare bottom with the rock suspended on black egg crate. 1 40 gal will be a frag tank the other a display.oh and a Reef tek calcium reactor.

the 37 has a custom plexi sump,es-8 skimmer and dual 250w halides running on IC ballasts. 3xvho actinics round off the lighting. this set up will get the 1/4 hp PCI chiller when the 1/2hp PCI chiller comes in for the 40s.

right now everything i have is being housed in a 60 gal frag tank w/dual 400w halides.
