I was googling around the internet when I came across a forum posting here by Otty - about his in-wall tank. After reading through all 31 pages of it, I was not only jealous, but impressed, too. I looked around 3reef some more and figured I'd join in.
I have a 52 Gal. fish-only converted to reef tank that's been running for about a year. It was actually my first venture into saltwater aquariums. It's home to 3 blue-green chromis damsels, a bi-color angel, a dragon goby, and just recently (yesterday) a naso tang. Other inhabitants include a purple-tipped anemone, an anemone crab, a sally light-foot crab, a frog-spawn coral, a couple leather corals, and one other coral that I need to identify. I also have a handfull of turbo snails and blue-legged hermit crabs. I'm currently running a Fluval 305 canister filter, Aquarium Systems skimmer, an assortment of powerheads, and a Current Satellite power compact ligting system - all controlled with a Neptune Systems Aquacontroller 3 pro.
I also have a 125 Gal that I am in the process of setting up. It still needs to be piped up, so it has never had water in it. It will probably be a fish-only tank - at least at first.

Looks like you are off to a rippingly good start! ;D

Like the rest of us, it is not easy to overcome urge for a larger tank after just starting out. :p ;) :p

Good Luck and keep us informed of progress. Hey, post some pics - we all love to see each other's "creations" including works in progress.

    Again, [IMG]
