    Name is Ed, I have been reading these boards for a few weeks now and after seeing how everyone here really helps one another and has fun doing it I decided this was a community I could definately enjoy being a part of.

    I have always had fresh water tanks, always wanted to have salt tanks but over the years of hearing horror stories I just couldnt convince myself to start one. That is until a friend of my wife showed me his 180 gallon tank and we started talking; he told me of the many advances this hobby has taken on and how much easier it is now to enjoy the beauty of a reef tank. Well thats all it took and I am on my way and very happy to have found this community to help me advance and one day help others.

    Great to be here and looking forward to much more reading!
