    Hello, peeps!

    I'm still in the research and planning stage, going on my 4th straight day of internet research. I've run the gamut of excitement at setting up a tank to terror that I'll be afflicted with bryopsis & bristle worms. I would love to have a big, beautiful reef aquarium, but space & money present a real challenge, so I'm leaning towards a 29 gallon Biocube as a FOWLR to begin with, and as many upgraded accessories as I can buy or fit into it.

    One of my main challenges will be doing without a good LFS, most stores in my area deal only with freshwater fish. I've only found one SW store so far, and I wasn't impressed by the cleanliness or the livestock selection. I'm also lacking friends with marine tanks, so I'm sure I'll be haunting the forums quite a bit.

    Try to stay positive and enjoy the learning process. Don't get too worked up over all the stuff you read on the internet...people are quick to post horror stories, but don't always share the good things.
