hello ..quick question

i had a coral catfish ..i say had cause he just died...hes been in the tank awile ..added a lion fish last night and this morning the catfish kept swimming at the top..later today he died..is it possible that the lionfish stung the catfish..as i didnt see any fighting....

 

The Lion Fish may have tried to eat the Cat Fish I do not know the size of either.

The Lion Fish would not have stung it in a aggressive manner but rather by accident if that is what indeed did occur.

 

the catfish was about 8 inches long...the lion fish is about 5inches

 

then the cat tried to mess with the lion so we know what the results will be . mewwwwwwwwwwww cat 0 lion 1 ;D

far from joiking i beleive it happened by accident. what kind of lion you have ?

 

antennata lionfish..thats good i was being told the lion fish was aggresive and now i cant put anything in the tank..
this was one of those ..here mom ..this is really "cool" gifts..gotta love my kids they walk around pet stores and look for hours for "cool" stuff :thinking2

 

Lion Fish are not aggressive they just will attempt to eat anything that they think can fit in their mouths, even if it can not fit.
