Hello my name is Ryan and i live in amarillo texas. I have a 75 gallon predator/reef tank. My fish include a humu humu trigger, a banan wrasse, a christmas wrasse, fu manchu lion, and a three stripe damsel. My corals are a massive solid purple hammer, a white hammer, green and purple frogspawn, a purple/peach tipped frogspawn, several ricordias, a couple chalices, green polypd toadstool, a pagoda, two wellsi brains, and way too many polyps to count and name off. I run 4, 54w HO T5 blue actinicts, a remora protien skimmer, and 3 stage rena canister filter. Ive had it established for a couple years now and everything does great. Im new at the forum and post thing so be patient with me! I almost forgot my wifes tank! Its a 40 gallon reef tank in the works. We started cycling it 2 weeks ago so now the wait game is in play. we already stocked it with rock and she is running the same lights and filtration as me.

    Need help

I got a awesome specimen(well kinda) from my lfs. It is a purple/peach tipped frogspawn. I say kinda because there is only a inch and a half still alive on a five inch skeleton. I got it because it has awesome colors, i got a steal on it, and i am hoping i can bring it back! My question is...should i frag the remaining alive piece off or leave it whole. I started wondering about it because if you trim all the dead stuff off of a plant it helps the remaining alive part thrive and i am wondering if it is kinda the same concept
