    thanks everyone, as to the reactor, i have to get it out of the shed, I hid it there because it has co2 tank attached and was afraid to leave around due to the fact i have small children

    Better make sure it has not water still in it if it's getting cold where you live. Ca reactors are easy to set up.

    Welcome to 3reef. I would share your concerns about small children as well. Getting at the hardware. Tossing pennies in the tank. It's so embarrassing when they come out of the living room screaming with something sticking out of their skull. You may want to invest in a few locking mechanisms to secure your investment (and offspring's wellbeing). That includes a canopy lock. I have seen those for sale. Rock on.......John.
