    So the top four at
    Fish Eye Disorders

Each have a different solution. I am going with Cottony at this time as it stands out quite a bit. That shows as Fungal. Translucent shows as bacterial. I did just notice the Flame and coral beauty trying to scratch the eye on a rock so I suspect its itchy.

The LFS was out of Maracyn so I ended up with Kordon Rid-Fungus for External Fungus. and GelTek, Amphicilyn for Bacterial, it also specific for cloudy eye.

I will try these for a couple days to see if there is improvement.

    thanks for the responses

Just use the Ampicylin there are few saltwater fungus.. Not to say there are none but they are few and far between. With the antibiotics you should see improvement in 24 hrs to 48 tops id not then its a opposite Gram then what you are treating for.. I think Amphicilyn is for Gram Positive bacterias .. This is where many get into trouble when treating a tank never mix up the meds . Just use the one to see how it works . But its not a fungal issue I'd dare say. I have seen maybe 3 or 4 real marine fungal issues in many many yrs. Its just not that common..
Remove the mechanical filtration carbon and such and shut the skimmer off.

Well I guess you can actually save fish from dying. I guess the trick is catching it quick enough and using the right treatment.

After a few days of the antibiotics in the food, the Flame eye is all better and everyone looks good.

Whew, that was a close one...

    \Cheers

Thats why I always keep a supply of maracyin 1 and 2 on hand all the time. If more would just hit it faster then they would save more fish.. Somewhere the old wives tail got started that anitbiotice would wipe a tank out. Glad you saved them
