I have an acropora I do not know exactly what kind it is if anyone can ID it. My main problem though is that it is normally neon green like it is in the picture except it is green all over. Right now this is the first ive seen but about half of the frag is a darker purple color. Its not like its bleaching but like it lost its zooanxellaes or its exposing its skeleton or something im not sure exactly im just trying to describe it. Please help. My water parameteres are :
CA couldnt test because I ran out of tests but my KH was low (6 drops 107.4 ppm KH and my nitrates and phosphates are extremely low. Im about to add some KH buffer. Frag sits in high light high flow. Any help is apreciated thank you.

There is nothing wrong with the coral. Many times the active growth areas have different colors than the body. Also the amount of light getting to a point on the coral will control what color it shows.

It might be because of the move or the available zooxanthellae in your tank. As long as it is not showing the skeleton which will be white or fading colors and growing well all should be fine. Do keep your Ca, Mg and alk steady and with in recommended ranges or you will have problems with keeping your SPS at first and the rest of your corals later.

i have all kinds of coral and this is the only one struggling at the moment. im going to adjust KH and possibly add some Mg if it gets any worse ill have to post for more help. thanks again. the color is fading and its almost like i can see the lines of the skeleton underneath the new red color. Still if anyone can give me scientific name of this by chance that would be great too.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
My Green Tortuosa does this, mine does so in more shaded areas, it turns a darker color with a blue/brown tint to it.
