    hi guys,

    I added some live rock a couple of months back and now I have some new visitors in the tank, can some one help Identify? I wonder if they are good/bad to have in the tank?

    What you've got there is a bristleworm. A beneficial detritivore :)

    Bristleworms. They have a bad reputation but they are good scavengers. Their bristles sting, though, so be careful. They reproduce very quickly and can grow very long. Some people eliminate them from their tanks based on their reputation. The best way is with a bristleworm trap (Google that)

    Not all amcarrig. Some are known to attack clams, some are even opportunistic. You can help determine if yours is a good scavenger by the color of the worm itself, but who knows what those little guys would be up to.

    Ahh yes. Worms it is. We all have them...In our tanks, that is.... I named one of mine.
