    I say tailspot or forktail.

The striped is another good one though.

Remember some blennies are clam nippers.

I know its not on your list but the best Algae eater I have ever had in a blenny is my Lawnmower Blenny, and god what a character, not the prettiest but neat looking in its own way. But he eats Algae all day long everyday, even seen him eating the hair algae I have growing on my return pipes.

I have had Midas Blenny, Tailspot Blenny, Red Spot Blenny and have a Barnacle Blenny right now and none of them even looked at algae, ate everything I put in the tank but not the algae.

Tailspot. Such a cute fish!!! Supposed to have a fun personality, be very comical, etc. From what I've read on the internet, but who knows how accurate it is, the tailspot does eat algae. LiveAquaria also says that they help control algae.

Well I really enjoy my Midas blenny so far, but from what Ive seen he takes no interest in algae. Unless I just have the wrong kinda algae not sure.
