    sorry dont no what a ug filter is, its a fluval 3 and i have strip to to clean everything somehow i dont think its the filter .x

    Under Gravel filter. They work by pulling water & everything else through the substrate. Uneaten food & detritus gets trapped in there if you don't vacuum it from time to time. Then the nitrate problems begin.

    sorry dont no what a ug filter is, i use a fluval 3 which is very good and has been cleaned throughly.

    no i use a fluval pump and its cleaned ok,i only have a few stones so the tank is spotless
