i just set up my fish tank. A 12 gallon aquapod. I need to get more salt water because it is not completely full. All i have in the tank right now is sand and live rock. One problem that i need help with, when the water is leaving the filter it is coming out looking dusty or something. If i turn off the tank the water becomes perfectly clear.

    Any help?

The water will be cloudy when you add SW to a new tank. Thats the sand doing that. Did you rinse out any chemical filters? Like carbon or any other kind of media.

The cloudiness will last for a couple of days, thats normal. Any time you add more sand, the same thing will happen.
