    I need Help I have manjao's and aiptasia they have taken over my tank. How do I get rid of them?

    I think peppermint shrimp will eat the aiptasias or there is some sort of medicine you can buy. I have heard of injecting them with lemon juice as well.

    I have pepperment shrimp, not eating them. I have also tried the injection but the keep coming back.

    maybe your not getting them all, they could be hidden in some places that you cant see or reach. I would treat with the medicine, I just dont know the brand that other have recommended. Maybe someone else will chime in?

    Have used bottled treaments called 'joes juice' and 'aiptasia X'.make sure you turn off all your power heads if using these though so they dont get blown onto any corals.i found both effective but unless you get them all they will keep spreading!

    How long have you had the shrimp? I only had 2 aptasia and 1 majano (that I could see, at least), added 3 peppermint shrimp. Took a couple weeks for the nems to disappear. Never saw an attack as the shrimp are mostly nocturnal.

    Aiptasia X, 60 ml. by RedSea Rocks! Its so much easier than injecting them directly and I havent seen one survive it. I have done a round and about to do another seeing as i missed a couple lil buggers!
