I've kept several coral banded shrimp over the years, and the worst they've ever done was become dinner for a nem while trying to steal it's food. lol. OTOH, I had serious problems with the sally lightfoot crab and purple reef lobster, but many others claim they are model citizens in their tanks. Let it suffice to say that one can find an occasional rogue with most any species. As for the red-leg hermits and peppermint shrimp, it's far more common. You can find several threads on the matter here on 3Reef.

+1, exactly... same here. Mine enjoy the extra food and occasional patch of algae that pops up between monthly water changes. :)

I've never used ReefCleaners, but I must say they do get a lot of positive feedback and recommendations. You might want to check them out.

reef cleaners is a great website i have used them before on my 72g bowfront tank. oks8fan if i were you i would get more cuc, from what i have seen on my tank, you are going to need about double what you have down if you have the money. and i would not put a shrimp into your tank, plus you did say you wanted a reef tank so i don't think getting a pepper shrimp is a good idea, they might eat some coral.
