I have convinced a lfs to host a frag swap in the near future problem is I have never participated in one myself let alone help host one! As a matter of fact most people in the chi town are look at me funny when I bring the subject up. What I am looking for is ideas and thoughts that worked or didn't at any of the swaps other members are involved in. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Phil

Phil, I know a few guys in Chi that might be able to assist you. Doug, the president of CMAS might be willing as might Mike Kirda or John Brandt. I will pm you their emails so you might be able to get ahold of them. Both John and Mike post over on reefs.org quite often if you'd like to get their addies quicker.

I would encourage people to RSVP so you know how many are coming.

Our next Frag swap isn't until May. The last one was very successful. A church let us use their activity room for free and we set up tables, ordered pizza and everyone came with styrofoam shipping containers or coolers filled with corals and left with different ones. We also traded live sand, macroalgaes, etc.

If you are ever in the St. Louis region, give me a holler. I know ScubaBill doesn't live too terribly far away.

Great advice on the coolers Curt. Really enjoyed the SEABay frag swap. Very orderly and lots of cool stuff exchanged hands. See a reef saved right before your eyes!

You know, now that I am thinking about it, you might want to throw something into your rules about aptasia. A frag I brought home recently had some on it. Now I gotta deal with it in my tank!
