It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Are they right side up or upside down in the image?

Do they feel like they have a shell under a mantle?

I really do not know but it looks like it's some sort of sea slug/nudibranch versus Chiton.

What new things have you added to the tank lately?

Very cool, but until you get an ID you might want to keep them in a separate container.

Google images of "Fuzzy Chitons" and see if they look similar.

They are right side up, and have many hair like legs under them. I have recently put some new zoas and button polyps in that where attached to a small piece of live rock. They remind me of a pillbug but orange, they curl to a circle when touched

If they are chiton they will have an 8 piece segmented shell, mantle covering some/ all of the shell, and a strong foot underneath. Its doubtful to me you would have an easy time removing chiton without damaging them. As with abalone, when disturbed they will clamp down so tightly to the rock as to make them impossible to safely remove. Also while I suppose its possible chiton can curl completely up I have never observed more than about a 30 to 40 degree curl.

You mention pillbug, and that is a type of isopod. If it is an isopod, there are many types of isopods, some bad, some not.

If you just google "isopod" images, you'll probably quick stick a knife through them just in case .

I'd exercise some caution with these, and perhaps ask the originator of that frag if they might know what these are. I'd guess they are harmless.

I hate to disagree with Corailline, because she is right like 99.999% of the time. But I think they are scale worms.

chitons attach themselves to rocks so hard its nearly impossible to detach them unless they are dieing. The shells are very tough as well. They also move VERY slow, and almost never across sand.

    I'd be inclined to agree.

edit. That they are scale worms.
