I had a Hawk Fish in my reef tank along with two Maroon Clowns, Watchman Goby and 6 Line Wrasse, In a 55 Gallon tank with alot of live rock, he Wouldn't leave my other fish alone and ate my snails. I had them together for 3 months, and hardly saw my other fish, once i finally caught the lil guy everything is more active.

As far as I know the rest should be reef friendly and get along, you might add the fire fish last so everything else can get a hiding place?

    2 questions.
    1. Any suggestions on a substitution for the hawkfish?
    2. Can you explain why you would wait till last to add the firefish? Most research I can done on the net suggest stocking orders based on size and aggressiveness. Is the firefish more aggressive in respect to my stocking plans than I am aware?

    Thanks for all the help.

There's all kinds of fish that would do as a sub for the hawk fish, sounds like you have quite a bit of fish chosen already, so maybe nothing for right now, just see how the other ones you've picked work out.

Ahh and about the firefish, i was under the impression it was something other than what it is. Disreguard my comment on it lol
