I have a question about bubbles in my sump......there's way too many! And about every two minutes, huge "gusts" of micro bubbles are blown into the tank from the sump. My tank is 210g (still cycling) and sump is 45g. The pipes from the overflow (into the sump) are 1" and I connected a 1 1/2 "T" to each end to disperse the water more slowly. Well, it didn't help slow the flow and didn't dissipate any bubbles either. Any idea how I can stop these bubbles? There are 3 chambers in the sump and a square sponge is on the ledge where the water flows into the 3rd chamber which helps a bit but not enough. Here's the first pic.........I circled where the "T"'s are:

    Here's some cool bubbles

    Build a bubble trap

You can also put a ball valve on the return line to lower the flow.
