before you start worryin about pellets i would go to the lfs and ask what they fed him and get him fed before he withers away.
as for training him to eat pellets you can soak them in garlic but theres no guarentee that hell ever eat them plain. you could also feed him a little bit of pellets every time you feed him what ever the lfs fed him.

mandarins are not the same as blennys... they only eat pods and are almost impossible to train to eat anything else.
did they tell you exactly what kind of blenny it is???

Scooter "blennies" and mandarins are all dragonets.

yes, they are dragonettes... but a scooter blennie is not a MANDARIN dragonette. mandarins are alot harder to take care of and almost always die in captivity... i know, its my favorite fish ;D

Yes, mandarins/dragonettes are not the same as blennies. A scooter "blenny" is a dragonette. The name "blenny" is a misnomer, it was applied in the aquarium trade to make it sound easier to care for than it is. It is not by any means a true blenny. The correct term is "scooter dragonette", not "scooter blenny"....
