again, moving the fish right now IMO is going to stress them out more. I would just leave them in there and work on getting parems back in check. If they are eating well then they should have a good fighting chance

No QT tank to move them to anyway. I beleive he is going to try adding some purigen which is a media for removing ammonia and nitrates.

Went to walmart... texting mike the whole time (thanks for your help). Got some stress enzyme and some new carbon. Put it in, did not get to test the params before work this morning but we have another casualty. My firefish was on the bottom this morning :-(
This is a nightmare... not sure what caused it or when its going to stop. I had someone watching my tank when I was on vacation a couple weeks ago, I know the lighting period got screwed up. So I had a few new hands in the tanks messing with things. I believe this caused it. I have a feeling the clarkii's are going to go too. If my maroon gets caught up in this it will be devestating. That is our favorite fish. She isnt showing the powdery signs though. Neither is our blue damsel. The coral and everything else is going great though. Its odd, and makes me just want to give up.

Just wanted to say.. I love.. and am dedicated to this board. I cant believe the response/help I got. This is like a family. It sucks in a way we are spread everywhere because I would love to meet the "regulars". I sit on here 40 hours a week lol because of my job. If I had internet at the house it would be more. So this is a major thank you.
I really dont think I would have made it through this without you guys. Especially mike who texted me up til 12:30 last night my time til I was on my way home with the remedies. This is my favorite hobby that I have ever had. It takes over and is more than a hobby, thats why we all love it. My future planned vacations went from camping to diving because of this hobby. LOL.. anyway.. I am done with my sappyness. Thank you all again. Hopefully this nightmare will be over soon, and I can get the 75G up and running, and put this all behind me.

you cant give up, the balance of your fish and your corals are depending on you.
the steps you have taken are steps in the right direction. if you do avoid a total tank wipe out, focus on the positives and not the negatives

the tank is still half full
    not half empty

Ohh I wont give up.. it is devestating though. My corals are still doing great.
Both my heads of frogspawns have split within the last few days? LOL
Great lesson learned.. I told the fiance that we needed timers for the lighting before we went on vacation and that I didnt like just anyone messing with it and sticking their hands in there.

Andrea went to the store.. we setup a QT at our house with an extra tank I was getting. They said the fish have a fungus. Will be setting up the QT and giving them meds seperately today. Pulling 10 gallons of water of my DT to put in the QT and then doing a a 10 gallon change on the DT.
