His little legs are flailing all over the place trying to reach the substrate. poor little bugger, maybe i need to get a couple medium sized shells.

Now my clowm is looking at him like ***??

That's great to hear. It is always neat when a hermit gets a new shell. I only have one hermit and he started out in a 1/2inch shell. Then I threw in a really cool looking shell thats about 1 inch in diameter that he has grown into. The white shell is starting to get some coraline and stuff on it and slowly starting to match my rocks

I got a cuc two days ago and the next day a hermit found a new shell. Well this thing is a least five times to big it is all he can do to drag it around. Well if size matters no one in the tank will mess with him.:eek:

^ he is just overcompensating ;) The other inhabitants will see right through that ploy.

My guy is getting used to his new home, it seems he just had to reorient himself, but he is still really clumsy with it. Knocking over a bunch of frags.

I always think its funny when they have unusually small shells and the walk around with the shell completely off the ground.
