I have a similar one in the sense that its the same species but obviously like a different shell pattern. Mine doesn't eat my corals, but if yours does then take it out

Normally most do not eat the fish in our tank unless it is dead already. I haven't seen them go after healthy coral either.

Clibanarius vittatus, Brown-striped hermit crab commonly from the Gulf.

I had one of those. I got him in an "empty" shell from the LFS (and we checked it out very closely to make sure it was empty LOL). I had him for almost 3 years and he grew very big very fast. I kept him in a 10 gallon with my blue damsel thinking he'd hurt my corals in my 38, then moved him to my 38 gallon when the damsel finally died & I broke that tank down. He was a huge klutz, but he never hurt anything. He finally died when my caulerpa nuked my tank. I used to hand feed him...well, I spot fed him when he got my thumb accidentally once after a couple years.

This is him in the shell I brought back for him from Scotland because he was getting too big for any shells I could buy. The shell on top of him is the one he came in originally a year earlier. He eventually ended up as big as my fist.

Just make sure they get plenty to eat. Any critter will eat what it can if it doesn't get fed! How big is your tank? I can't imagine 20 of them the size mine got LOL.
