Hermit Crab

Has anyone ever seen a hermit crab with a specialization in Ninja ?




I found him like this about 2 days ago, but didn't get a picture, so when I saw it again today, the pic had to be taken. ;D

 

my smaller blue legged hermits climb up my back glass all the time... it kinda surprised me when they first started doing it... they're hanging on to the algae, be it film or coralline from what I can tell... or they have ninja powers, not sure.

 

Ninjas need something their hooks can grab into also ;D

Oh, I forgot in the first post: that green algae on the back is nearly as hard to scrape as the spots of coralline algae....is it coralline, or a different type altogether?

 

haha This is cool. My two pacific cleaner shrimp do this all the time, thought I've never seen my hermits do this..

 

Does anyone know how to make the pictures show up in that "photo gallery" type thing? I keep posting stuff with full-size pictures, and I imagine nobody wants to load 5MP images just to read a (very) mildly entertaining post.
