So I got a red mushroom from a friend that was attached to a shell. I should of glued it down! The hermit took the shell and has been traveling for 2 weeks with the mushroom attached. I don't really know what to do about it...

    Just let the hermit/shroom be.

If you have other large shells for the hermit to choose from - it will likely swap out soon anyway.

If not - then how cool to have a mushroom that moves!!?!?!?

It's like "Where's Mushroom" -- you can play that every time you look at the tank!!!

Letting it be, has basically been the plan anyways. I definitely need to get some bigger shells. I just figured if the mushroom got totally unhappy, it would remove itself.

I would agree with you Dowtish - if the shroom is unhappy - it will likely pull up anchor and float to greener pastures . . . .cool to watch and observe either way!!!
