I'm in Beaufort, SC for the weekend to enjoy the beach and was wondering what your thoughts were on bringing back some hermit craps to put in my 55 gal. tank. I did it before and didn't have any problems (that I saw) but not sure if they do much. They are rather large.

I will be switching from cc to ssb so I'm not sure if there is a major concern with hermits destroying the living creatures in the sand (a dsb would probably be a problem).

There are fiddler crabs I'm not sure if those would be ok with my colt coral and zoas.

    slugs probably not either.

I would think that the water in our tanks is too warm for whatever animals you may collect from the shore? Also, I think fiddler crabs would need a special tank set up where they have access to both "land" and "sea?"
