Ormond is one of my favorite areas. During summer I'll drive up there to surf and take my dog since there's a dog beach down by the water tower. I guess it's more in Flagler now that I think of it.

Have any pics of your set up so far? Always like to see what other new hobbyists are doing so I can compare my setup.

I don't have any yet, I'm currently drawing up plans for a stand, but once I start building it I will be sure to post pics of my process :) What about you?

I built my own stand also tang. Used half of a warehouse steel shelving frame and covered it with 1/2 finished birch. Piano hinges for the large doors. Came out pretty good.
    Good luck with yours!!!

Not yet, no water in yet. Hopefully picking up a new sump (Eshopps RS-75) and Skimmer (Reef Octopus NWB-110) this weekend!

I picked up a used 46bow, also trying to get some coraline residue off the back glass. Some white vinegar and a pretty light and gentle sponge did not do the trick. Will have to work on that more before I take any pictures. Any suggestions?
