Hello all...my name is Jason and I'm from the Chicagoland area. Have a 55 gal salt water, fish only tank with about 80lbs of live rock and 60 lbs of live sand. Currently have a 125 gal tank I just bought but still deciding whether or not to go w/ a Fluval FX5 filter or go w/ a sump set up, which I've never messed with b4 so I'm pretty much on here to learn what that is all about. Hopefully I can find all my answers on this forum. I'm sure there's alot of knowledgable people on here to help me out! Hello again and thanx ahead of time for any helpful info you all can give me.

Welocome, read up! iMO, drill your 125 and get a sump! A TON more benefits than a filter and prob less maintenance!

Welcome! Pictures are always a treat!

I agree with cosmo, anything over a 55, imo should be set up with a sump. drilling a tank isnt too difficult, just requires some patience.

Feel free to direct me to a thread that explains the procedure. Not sure where to look or just message me with some further info about drilling. Thanks
