Hi everyone. Well, I guess I will start by saying that I haven't really been in the hobby too long. I had a 10g tank when I was little but that was about it. This past summer me and my family had planned a trip to go down to Atlanta to visit the aquarium there ( I have always loved aquariums and zoo's etc) but the trip fell through. We had been researching getting a tank for a year or so and decided why not go ahead with it. We had been wanting a saltwater but decided to start fresh first. So...that is when it all began. We bought a 60g tank and stand. At first we were going to make it a community setup and then we saw a cichlid set up at out lfs and decided to go that route. Anyways to make a long story short. I upgraded equipment etc and the tank houses 21 malawi cichlids, two angelicus loaches, and two bristle nose plecos. I have a 10g quarantine/hospital tank for the 60 also. My love kept growing and the itch for the saltwater tank kept growing. I finally broke down and bought a 90g all-glass tank with built in overflow. Anyways...enough blabbing...here are the pictures. If you want to know equipment etc feel free to ask.

These are the only pics I have of the two display tanks (I have two 10g hospital/quarantine tanks also). I am also not a photographer so please bare with me...

Wow. tank is looking great! Im just recently in the hobby myself. about 6 months. We just started stocking our 115gal tonight. (had to upgrade) all is going well so far.

Anyways. everyone here is extreamly helpful in any situations you might have. but sounds like everything is going well for you so far. Research and always learning is the key. Seems like i should have a degree in saltwater chemistry from all the stuff i've been reading ;D

But Welcome to 3Reef! and again the tank looks fantastic!

Welcome to 3reef. I too am somewhat new in saltwater. I have found the people here to be extremely knowledgeble and willing to help a newbie, they're great. Great looking tanks. I love the rock setup in the saltwater tank. Great pics.
