    Ya, luckily for me i have put enough aside to fully cover this expensive project....althought the wife already complained about "nothing I do is ever small"...HA!

    Think as big as you can afford!..will save you tremendous expense of upgrading to larger tank in future, which you certainly want to do if serious at all about this hobby, in lieu of skimping at startup. (should make your wife happy!);D

    + the bigger the tank the easier it is to keep it alive

    Think of it as an ocean vs a pond, easier to pollute and kill the pond

    I have a science background so i have a pretty good understanding of some the more "sciencey" parts but no actual experince....and the difference between theory and real life can sometimes be incredible!
