    Hi Everyone, I am in the process of setting up a 90 gallon FOWLR. I currently have a 46 gallon filtered with a canister. I am making a fefugium filter for the 90 gallon tank. I have a mega flow on the tank. It had a missing part, the air intake elbow. Lowes told me how to make one with an elbow and drill a hole in it. Not sure where the water level should be on that. It didn't come with instructions. Can't take it back, came from a store that was going out of business. Plus, glued the intake together. OOPS !!! Later found out, wasn't suppose to. The refugium is kinda scary, worried about power outages and flooding. If I take water from the old tank and add it to the new tank, will this speed up the cycling process ? And how long before I can transfer the fish. I was going to get some Chromis to put in there when I fill it up. And also take some of the rock from the old tank and put in the new.
